Adopt-A-Family This Giving Season

The Women’s Resource Center (WRC) is preparing for our 2022 Adopt-A-Family (AAF) program. Our AAF program assists families who are victims of domestic violence during a very stressful time of year – the Holidays! In 2021, thanks to 36 generous donors, 52 families including 108 children, were able to enjoy a brighter holiday season. We look forward to another successful year of supporting families during the holidays and we hope that you will join us!

Each family’s situation is unique and the needs of the victims and their children are often complex. Victims can suffer for years under the power and control of their abuser. The WRC supports survivors through empowerment, helping to remove barriers and restore independence. In 2020, our first AAF Gift Card campaign empowered individuals by providing them with the opportunity to thoughtfully choose and personally wrap gifts for their own families. This gift of choice is vitally important to those who have been isolated and powerless for so long.

Can we count on you to make our 2022 Adopt-A-Family program a success?

Monetary donations are encouraged and your generous support is greatly appreciated! This will allow us to purchase gift cards in bulk and serve more families.

If you would like to donate gift cards please complete the Adopt-A-Family Commitment Form by November 3, 2022.
