Adopt-A-Family 2025

The Women’s Resource Center's annual Adopt-A-Family program assists families who are survivors of domestic violence, during the holiday season. This can be a very worrisome and stressful time of the year, especially when resources are scarce.

In 2024, thanks to 37 generous donors, 59 families including 123 children, were able to enjoy a brighter holiday season. We look forward to another successful year of supporting families during the holidays and we hope that you will join us!

Each family’s situation is unique and the needs of the victims and their children are often complex. Victims can suffer for years under the power and control of their abuser. The WRC supports survivors through empowerment, helping to remove barriers and restore independence. Our Gift Card campaign empowers individuals by providing them with the opportunity to thoughtfully choose and personally wrap gifts for their own families. This gift of choice is vitally important to those who have been isolated and controlled.

GIFT CARD DONATIONS:

Please mail or request pick up of your gift card donations. Gift Card store needs: Walmart, Amazon, Target, Stop & Shop, Burlington Coat Factory, Marshall's, TJ Maxx, CVS and Walgreens.

If you or your group are planning a Friends-Giving, fundraising drive or other collection event, please complete the Adopt-A-Family Commitment Form so we may include your intended contributions in our planning.
