Support Team WRC!

As a beneficiary of the Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Foundation, we are excited to be participating in the Citizen's Pell Bridge Run | 2026! 100% of all net proceeds from the event go to local non-profits like the Women's Resource Center.

The 15th annual Citizens Pell Bridge Run will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2026 at 7:00 AM. Starting in Jamestown and finishing in downtown Newport, this point-to-point event is open to runners and walkers of all ages and speeds! The 4-mile road race and walk is the only day of the year pedestrians are permitted to cross the famous Newport Pell Bridge. Gather your friends and family for a day of fun, fitness and stunning views!

REGISTRATION (required for all course participants):

Register early for the best pricing and shuttle assignments! The proceeds from your registration go to support the beneficiaries of the run (that's us!). Registration opens May 1, 2026.

FUNDRAISING:

After registering, ask your network to support the WRC with a donation, in honor of your race. There are a select number of complimentary race registrations for WRC fundraisers! Contact us for a special link.

TEAM WRC:

If you would like join the Women's Resource Center team please 1) register for the race then 2) complete this form. Team members will meet in Jamestown, sip hot beverages, watch the sun rise and take a team photo! Participants can walk or run on their own or with our staff and volunteers.
